Terms & Conditions and Patient Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship, rights and obligations between
Dermamare Private Practice, Mirjam Kraljević-Feucht, M.D., Vukovarska ulica 24C, Kaštel Stari, OIB: 66448794633, (hereinafter referred to as the “Practice”)
and the patient or recipient of services (hereinafter referred to as the “Patient”).

 

1. General Provisions and Treatment Agreement

Formation of the Agreement: A treatment agreement for a medical or aesthetic service is concluded when the Patient confirms an appointment, whether verbally, by telephone, by email or through an online booking form.

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions: By booking an appointment, the Patient confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
 

2. Appointments, Cancellations and No-Show Policy
Free Cancellation: Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

No-Show Fee for Standard Appointments (Dermatology / Consultations): If the Patient fails to attend a standard appointment or cancels less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the Practice reserves the right to charge a fixed no-show fee of EUR 50.00 to cover the reserved appointment time. Future appointments may be scheduled only after this fee has been paid.

Special Policy for Aesthetic Treatments (Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers, etc.): Due to the time required and preparation of treatment materials, an advance deposit of EUR 50.00 is required to confirm appointments for botulinum toxin or dermal filler treatments.

The deposit will be deducted in full from the final treatment invoice.

If the Patient fails to attend the appointment or cancels less than 24 hours beforehand, the deposit will be retained as compensation for the reserved appointment. Refunds or transfers of the deposit to another appointment are not possible.

Late Arrivals: If the Patient arrives more than 15 minutes late, the Practice reserves the right to shorten the treatment time or cancel the appointment. In such cases, the no-show fee may be charged in accordance with the provisions above.
 

3. Prices, Payment Terms and VAT

Price List: All service prices are displayed in the Practice and are available on the official website. All prices are quoted in euros (EUR).

Value Added Tax (VAT): Medical treatments and dermatological services provided for therapeutic purposes are exempt from VAT in accordance with Croatian legislation. Aesthetic and cosmetic procedures that are not medically indicated are subject to the applicable rate of VAT. This is clearly indicated in the current price list.

Methods of Payment: Payment is due immediately after the service has been provided and may be made in cash, by debit or credit card, or by bank transfer at the Practice.

4. Medical Information, Consent and Liability

Patient Information: Before any dermatological procedure or aesthetic treatment, the physician will provide comprehensive information regarding the procedure, expected results, potential risks, possible side effects and post-treatment recommendations.

Informed Consent: Before any invasive or aesthetic procedure, the Patient is required to sign a written informed consent form. Treatment cannot be performed without signed consent.

Accuracy of Information: The Patient is responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their medical history, allergies, previous illnesses and current medication. The Practice accepts no liability for complications resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the Patient.

Treatment Outcomes: The Patient acknowledges that results in aesthetic medicine vary from person to person. Due to individual biological factors, a specific outcome or a particular aesthetic result cannot be legally guaranteed.


5. Complaints

Submitting a Complaint: In accordance with Croatian consumer protection legislation, the Patient may submit a written complaint in person at the Practice, by post to the Practice address or by email to info@dermamare.hr.

Response Time: The Practice undertakes to respond to all written complaints within the statutory period of 15 days from the date of receipt.
 

6. Data Protection (GDPR) and Photographic Documentation

Medical Confidentiality: All patient information, medical records, treatment details and photographic or video documentation are treated as strictly confidential and handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and professional confidentiality obligations.

Before-and-After Photographs: Photographs taken to document treatment progress form part of the Patient’s medical record. Any publication of such photographs for marketing purposes, including on social media or the Practice’s website, is permitted only with the Patient’s separate, explicit and written consent.
